Panvel land scam: ED probes BJP’s JM Mhatre in Rs 52 cr forest grab case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating JM Mhatre of JM Mhatre Infrastructure for allegedly acquiring government forest land illegally. Mhatre, a former PWP leader and recent BJP joiner, is accused of making duplicate entries in 2005 and transferring land to NHAI. The ED’s case stems from a Forest Department complaint about the land grab.
