The Counter Intelligence team of Punjab Police has arrested a man linked to Pakistani smuggler Chacha Bawa. The accused, identified as Harmandeep Singh from Mahal village in Amritsar, was caught with 10 kg of heroin. Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav shared details about the case. Drugs smuggled via drones DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that the arrest was based on intelligence inputs. The accused was in regular contact with Chacha Bawa, who is based in Pakistan. The smuggler used drones to send heroin across the border through the Attari sector. FIR registered, probe underway A case has been registered against Harmandeep Singh under the NDPS Act. The police are investigating his links with other smugglers in India and abroad. Officials are working to identify and arrest those involved in the drug network.
