Rahul in Assam: ‘CM acts like king, but people will jail him’; vows Congress comeback

Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by Mallikarjun Kharge, is visiting Guwahati to invigorate the Assam Congress ahead of the 2026 elections. Gandhi accused chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of corruption, predicting his eventual imprisonment by the people’s will. He also alleged BJP’s manipulation of voter lists, and emphasised the ideological battle between the RSS and Congress.
