Raja Raghuvanshi Murder: Wife, Lover & 3 Hitmen Sent To Custody In Chilling Meghalaya Honeymoon Plot

In a chilling twist to a newlywed honeymoon, Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi was murdered in Meghalaya’s East Khasi Hills, allegedly by his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and her lover Raj Kushwaha. Sonam, who secretly maintained 239 calls with Raj (saved as “Sanjay Verma”), is accused of orchestrating the murder during their honeymoon. Raj, an accountant in Sonam’s family business, is said to be the mastermind. The police have arrested five individuals, including three contract killers: Akash Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand Kurmi. While Sonam and Raj were remanded to 2-day police custody, the hitmen have been sent to 14-day judicial custody. Raja’s death, initially a missing persons case, turned into a national shocker when his body was recovered in the forests near Nongriat.
