Although Salman Khan is a Bollywood superstar today, there was a time when his father Salim Khan did not have faith in his talent. When Salman was new to films, his father had said that he could neither do action nor play the role of a tough guy, so he would only get 1-2 love story films. This revelation was made by Salman Khan recently on his nephew Arhaan's podcast. Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora's son Arhaan Khan recently started a podcast 'Dumb Biryani'. In the final episode of this podcast, Salman Khan gave several pieces of advice to the new generation. Along with this, giving his own example, he said, 'when I stepped into the industry, my father asked me, can you do action? I told him, yes I can. He asked me, will you beat up 10 people, will you look convincing? To this I said no.' 'Then they asked, can you become a lawyer? I said no. They asked, can you become a police officer? I said no. They asked, can you become the neighborhood's boss? I again said no. Hearing this, they said, at most you'll get one or two love stories,' added Salman. Further Salman said, I trained in action the whole time. I played the role of a local thug, then I appeared as a lawyer. I also played the role of a police officer and alongside romantic films were also running. But their words had stuck in my mind. Further, Salman said to his nephew Arhaan, 'So my advice for you is that if you or anyone enters the industry, they should understand that the industry has Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Ranbir – so are you better than them? If not, then your goal should be that I have to become better than them, this is my goal.' In the conversation, Salman Khan also said that he has been able to survive till now because he has learned from his seniors and juniors. Notably, before Salman Khan, Malaika Arora, Orry, and Arbaaz Khan have also been guests on Arhaan Khan's podcast.Original Article
