SC Warns of Intervention if Voters Dropped En Masse in Bihar; Hearing Set for August 12

The Supreme Court has taken serious note of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in poll-bound Bihar. Responding to petitions raising concerns over possible mass exclusion of voters, the bench said it will “step in” if irregularities are proven.
