September 2025 features a rare celestial double feature: a dramatic lunar eclipse on the 7th and a partial solar eclipse on the 21st. The solar eclipse, dubbed the “equinox eclipse,” will be visible at sunrise in the Southern Hemisphere, particularly in New Zealand, eastern Australia, and parts of the South Pacific.
