Bollywood actor Sonu Sood appeared in the Ludhiana court virtually today following non-bailable arrest warrants issued on January 29 by Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMIC) Ramanpreet Kaur. The court has directed the Station House Officer of Oshiwara police station in Mumbai's Andheri West to ensure the actor's presence in court. According to sources, he gave statement to the court "I don't know the accused. I have nothing to do with him. I was not a brand ambassador in this. I don't know why I was made a witness." Now this case will be heard on March 20. Sonu Sood will not be called for any statement further. Case is related to multilevel marketing company The case revolves around a multilevel marketing company based in Ludhiana that is currently under investigation for fraudulent activities. Ludhiana lawyer Rajesh Khanna allegedly said that in November 2021, he met a person named Mohit Shukla. Who told that he works in a multilevel marketing company called 'Rikeza Coin'. After the arrest warrant, Sonu Sood clarified through his official social media handle writing "We need to clarify that the news circulating on social media platforms is highly sensational. To be clear, the honourable court has called us as a witness in a third party related matter, with which we have no involvement. Our lawyers have responded to that summons and I will record my statement on February 10, in which I will clarify that I have no connection with this case. Neither are we their brand ambassadors nor are we associated with them in any other way. All this is being done just to get media attention and people's attention.
