Markets traded volatile on Monday and ended almost unchanged as investors balanced easing concerns over the global interest-rate outlook against renewed pressure from crude oil prices and geopolitical uncertainties.

Technically, analysts say the Nifty continues to hold above the crucial 24,350–24,500 support zone, keeping the broader bullish structure intact despite the recent consolidation.

In today's trade, shares of Wipro, BSE, Vodafone Idea, Hyundai India, Airtel among others will be in focus due to various news developments and first quarter results.

IT major Wipro will move out of the Nifty index, while BSE Ltd will enter India’s benchmark 50-stock index as part of the semi-annual review by NSE Indices. The changes will take effect from September 30, 2026, meaning they will be effective after the close of trade on September 29, 2026, NSE Indices said in a release dated August 10.

Debt-ridden telco Vodafone Idea on Monday narrowed its consolidated losses in the first quarter to Rs 3,754 crore. The loss stood at Rs 6,608 crore in the last year quarter. Revenue from operations increased 6% YoY to Rs 11,689 crore.

Bharti Airtel's B2B arm Airtel Business and telecom public sector company ITI Ltd have collaborated to sell digital solutions to enterprises, a joint statement said on Monday. The move is expected to enhance Airtel Business' share in the public sector, including Defence sector, by leveraging quota of ITI.

Hyundai Motor India is targeting one million cumulative connected car sales by 2027, as the automaker looks to accelerate the adoption of connected and software-led vehicle technologies in the country. The company said on Monday that more than 800,000 Hyundai connected cars are already on Indian roads, with connected vehicle penetration across its portfolio rising five-fold from 4% in 2019 to 20% in 2026.

To enhance its non-interest income, Punjab National Bank is planning to roll out wealth management services by December, the bank's managing director and CEO Ashok Chandra said. The public sector lender is now planning to deploy another 1,300 CRMs and by end of this month. It would deploy them in another identified 1,300 branches.

State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and Shell Energy India have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities in deepwater and ultra-deepwater oil and gas exploration as well as liquefied natural gas (LNG) sourcing.
