‘They can’t have nukes’: Why US is pulling troops from parts of Middle East

Amid rising tensions and stalled nuclear negotiations, the US is reducing its diplomatic and military presence in the Middle East. The State Department ordered nonessential staff to depart from Baghdad and authorized optional departures from Bahrain and Kuwait. The military is also allowing voluntary departures of dependents as regional instability looms and the IAEA considers censuring Iran.
