TVK Chief Vijay Seeks Congress’ Support For Coalition Govt: K C Venugoppal

Congress’ Tamil Nadu unit has decided to support Vijay’s TVK in forming the government in Tamil Nadu. The decision was reportedly taken during a PAC meeting following a request from Vijay. TVK has won 108 out of 234 seats in the Assembly and requires additional support to secure a majority. Congress, which has five MLAs, said it would extend support, stating that the mandate favours a secular government.
