Ukraine has struck a major drone-parts factory in Russia’s Chuvashia region, targeting the VNIIR plant in Cheboksary that makes antennas for Shahed drones. The attack caused significant damage and temporarily halted production. This is Ukraine’s second direct strike on a strategic Russian drone facility in under ten days. In retaliation, Russia launched its largest overnight drone assault yet, with 479 drones and 19 missiles fired across Ukraine. Kyiv claims to have intercepted 460 of them. The tit-for-tat attacks mark a serious escalation in drone warfare.
