Right after U.S. President Donald Trump spoke about tariffs on foreign-made smartphones, the president’s own phone started ringing. The first time, he pretended to answer before cancelling the call. “It’s only a congressman,” he joked with a smile. The phone rang again almost immediately. “It’s a different congressman,” he said. Trump then went on to answer questions about his administration’s decision to bar foreign student enrollment at Harvard and the possibility of action against other universities. He also blasted European Union amid new threat of 50 percent tariff. Watch.
