Who is Vivek Kumar Gupta? Western Railway’s new General Manager takes charge

Vivek Kumar Gupta, a 1988 batch IRSE officer, has assumed the role of General Manager at Western Railway. Previously, he was the Managing Director of NHSRCL, where he spearheaded the implementation of India’s first Bullet Train Project. Gupta also served as Principal Executive Director/Gati-Shakti at the Railway Board, coordinating multiple departments for major railway projects.
