Who will succeed Dhankhar? VP election on September 9

The Election Commission of India has declared that the election for the Vice President of India is scheduled for September 9, 2025. As per the ECI’s released schedule, the deadline for submitting nominations is August 21. The counting of votes will occur on the same day as the election, September 9.
