Cough syrup deaths: Licence of Sresan Pharmaceuticals, makers of Coldrif, cancelled

Tamil Nadu health minister confirmed the permanent revocation of Sresan Pharmaceuticals’ license, maker of Coldrif cough syrup, following the deaths of at least 21 children in Madhya Pradesh. The company’s owner has been arrested, and its manufacturing facility, found with serious safety lapses, has been sealed.
