As many as 33 companies have fixed Friday as the record date for their dividend payouts, effectively making today the last day for interested investors to buy these stocks to be eligible for the payouts.
Under Sebi's T+1 settlement cycle, investors need to purchase a company's shares at least one trading day before the record date to ensure the shares are credited to their demat accounts in time, and they become eligible for the corporate action. Accordingly, today is the last opportunity for investors to buy the shares so that they are credited to their accounts by the record date (August 28), making them eligible for the dividend.
Paras Defence in May announced a final dividend of Rs 1 per share with a face value of Rs 5 each. The defence major later fixed August 28 as the record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders set to receive the payment.
Paras Defence has announced two dividends since August last year. The multibagger stock has jumped more than 122% in 2026 so far, and 133% in one year. In the longer term, Paras Defence shares have soared more than 300% in three years.
Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) will pay a final dividend of Rs 8 per share to its shareholders. The company has declared 18 dividends since April 2012.
The latest dividend comes after the multibagger stock soared more than 116% in one year and a whopping 955% in three years. In the longer term, the stock has delivered tenbagger returns, skyrocketing more than 1,010%.
Mamaearth-parent Honasa Consumer in May announced its first-ever final dividend of Rs 3 per equity share, making the company the first among today's new age firms to reward its shareholders with a dividend.
According to Honasa Consumer, the dividend payout amounts to 51.2% of FY26 standalone profit after tax. The shares of the company have gained more than 6% in a month and around 68% in 2026 so far.

Protean e-Gov Technologies has the highest dividend per share among all the stocks with corporate actions scheduled for Friday, paying a final dividend of Rs 10 per share. Dynamatic Technologies, Vardhman Textiles, and Whirlpool will each pay a final dividend of Rs 5 per share. Poly Medicure will pay Rs 3.5 per share, Emami Paper Mills will pay Rs 3.2 per share, and Studds Accessories will pay Rs 3 per share.
Other stocks with dividend record dates on Friday include Sterling Tools (Rs 2.75 per share), Royal Orchid Hotels (Rs 2.5 per share), Salzer Electronics (Rs 2.5 per share), Arvind Smartspaces (Rs 2.25 per share), Credo Brands Marketing (Rs 2 per share), Allied Digital Services (Rs 1.5 per share), Gulshan Polyols (Rs 1.5 per share), Vardhman Acrylics (Rs 1.5 per share), Yuken India (Rs 1.5 per share), Black Box (Rs 1 per share), DAM Capital Advisors (Rs 1 per share), Cantabil Retail India (Rs 0.75 per share), Haldyn Glass (Rs 0.7 per share), Supershakti Metaliks (Rs 0.5 per share), NBCC (Rs 0.46 per share), Gujarat Ambuja Exports (Rs 0.3 per share), Coral India Finance & Housing (Rs 0.2 per share), Sumit Woods (Rs 0.2 per share), Swan Corp (Rs 0.15 per share), Gufic Biosciences (Rs 0.1 per share), and Shigan Quantum Technologies.
Meanwhile, Rotographics (India) and Spice Islands Industries have fixed Friday as the record date for stock splits.
