सब्जी किसानों के लिए, विशेष रूप से उच्च मूल्य वाली फसलों जैसे मिर्च और कोल फसलों (गोभी और फूलगोभी) में कीटों का दबाव लगातार चुनौती बना हुआ है। थ्रिप्स मिर्च की पैदावार को 25 -50% तक कम कर सकते हैं, जबकि डायमंड बैक मोथ गोभी में महत्वपूर्ण नुकसान का कारण बन सकता है। किसानों को लगातार स्प्रे, कम नियंत्रण अवधि, बढ़ती लागत और मौजूदा रसायनज्ञों के प्रति बढ़ते प्रतिरोध जैसी चुनौतियों का भी सामना करना पड़ता है।
CARVINT इन चुनौतियों का समाधान एक नए सक्रिय संघटक यानी Flometoquin 10% SC के माध्यम से करता है, जो भारतीय बाजारों के लिए कीटनाशकों की एक नई श्रेणी IRAC Group 34 से संबंधित है। यह किसानों को प्रमुख कीटों के प्रबंधन के लिए एक अलग विकल्प प्रदान करता है और मौजूदा कीटनाशक रसायनज्ञों के साथ रोटेशन के माध्यम से प्रतिरोध - प्रबंधन कार्यक्रमों का समर्थन करता है।
