Lyft CEO David Risher recounted Bill Gates’s sharp criticism of his 1996 decision to leave Microsoft for Amazon, calling it “the stupidest thing.” Risher, now leading Lyft, applies a similar customer-first strategy to revive the ride-sharing company.
